I attended BCS, Simla as a 6 year old in 1947. Iseem to recall the school closed towards the end of that year becuase of problems relating to Partition. So I must have returned to Delhi at that time to join my parents who were attached to the Australian High Commission. I seem to recall a junior school master called Mr. Bruce. I think he was handicapped (polio?). I retired from the Australian Foreign Service in 2000, from my post as High Commissioner to Pakistan. During that posting, I met a Governor of Baluchistan who had been an old boy as had Asad Hayat Khan and General Jehanzeb Khan. Is there a history of the school somewhere where I can learn more about the brief period I was at the school?
Best wishes
G. C. Allen (1947)
