Surinder and guys like him were a breed apart! We looked so puny in their midst and little did they know what an impact they had on so many of us. Wonderful people with a terrific character and a unique commitment to their alma mater. Hard to beat.

Our deepest sympathies to his lovely wife and wonderful boys. Our deepest sympathies.

He loved visiting school and would usually make unannounced nostalgic visits, be there for some time and talk randomly to a few school children before heading back).

That would not be possible with the current headmaster’s rules. How sad.
Mr BM Singh and Mr Headmaster, please note Surinder Singh’s love for his school, and how you have wiped out any chance of another Surinder Singh.
