Ranjan Uberoi [Gobey-ii] passed on

Sad news.

Ranjan Uberoi [Gobey-ii] of Lefroy house 1966 Batch.

Passed away at New Delhi today 18th March 2015 after bravely fighting cancer of the pancreas.

Cremation will take place tomorrow 19th March at the Lodhi Crematorium New Delhi at 4 PM.

We are waiting information about a prayer-meet / chautha from Vijay Singh [Kuttu] who was constantly at Gobey’s side in hospital. Please do look out on this page for further news….

EDIT 19/3/15:
Chautha will be on 20th March at Mata Ka Mandir in New Friends Colony from 2 to 3 pm.

  3. Very sad indeed. How such an event can suddenly transport you back to old times and that familiar face you remember so vividly. It was happy all the time. More than 50 years ago and even until a few weeks ago, this was a lovely smiling and affectionate friend. He will be missed by so many of us.

  11. Gobey was the ever ‘smiler’. Being from the same house and batch I have very fond memories of Gobey. Had the pleasure of meeting him ‘off amp; on’ over the years – memories I will always cherish. Go in peace friend and RIP
