Caleb. I am writing a history on a church in London, Ontario, Canada. Bishop Maqbul studied and attained his L. Th. degree at Huron University College in London, Ontario, graduating on May 31, 1957. Our minister, the late Canon H. E. (Harry) Merifield taught part time at Huron and had the future bishop assist at our church, St. James Westminster Anglican Church, 115 Askin Street, London, ON, Canada. N6C 1E7, If there are any copies of Count Your Blessings still available, I would like to have a copy for my continuing research and to have in our records at St. James. Canon Merfield’s daughter, Joan, still attends St. James Westminster. She also taught English and was the head of her department at a high school or secondary school in London, a pre-university school. I located information on Bishop Kaleb through our 1957 clergy records and Croxford Clergy Records 1963-64 at Huron University College, and am following up on the connection. If Count Your Blessings is available, I would like to receive a copy of it. My name is Wayne MacPherson, historical researcher for St. James Westminster, a part of the Diocese of Huron. Our church remains active and is still growing in size, bucking the trend. The church is the third largest in the Anglican Church in Canada, and the largest west of Toronto. I will submit a money order for the costs related to the obtaining of the bishop’s autobiography. God Bless, Wayne MacPherson, historical researcher, St. James waynemacpherson@rogers.com telephone 519-433-4377.
